Pardon the Dust

The other day I upgraded a ton of software on the server, and lo and behold, bradwich.com broke. I didn't notice this until some days later. Whoops. The biggest problem was an upgraded installation of Django, and the old site's code was written for pre-1.0.

Luckily (I guess), I had an upgraded version of the site that I wrote over Christmas vacation late last year/early this year which I hadn't yet deployed. Due to the above mentioned breakage, I had no other choice than to go ahead and turn it on. I wasn't planning on doing this, especially since the new site is not done and there are a ton of issues with it. Oh well.

All of the images I posted back in the Red Rover days are not currently showing up (the videos should continue to work fine). I believe that all of the comments came over correctly, as well as all my entries/articles. I also changed some of the URLs, but (most) the old ones should still work and redirect properly to the new ones.

There are some cool features that are lurking and waiting to be finished up, such as tagging. I've also got some new goodies in the navbar such as most popular entries, most commented entries, and latest comments. Someday when I don't feel lazy I'll finish fleshing some other things out (there is a reason why it's taken 6 months for me to turn this thing on).

In short, please let me know if anything is horribly broken. Otherwise, please pardon the dust my changes introduced. I'll sweep it up--one of these days :)
